Hi any difference between using type F vs 10W30?

  3. jediquinn says:

Olfixjmm- there’s a wedge bolt that holds the pedal in place. There’s also a spring that puts outward pressure on the pedal arm that also makes it hard to remove. Take the nut off, with some pressure push the pedal arm towards the moped and use a small hammer or rubber mallet to (on the thread side) knock the wedge bolt out. Don’t hit too hard or too soft. But mke sure you’re pushing the pedal arm with good force otherwise you may end up damaging the bolt threads. Do this with the threads facin

Thanks so very much for posting this. I changed the transmission oil in my new-to-me streetmate last night. Wish I could make it out to Poutine Ride IV, but I’ve got nuptials to attend out-of-province!

hey thanks for the vid but i have used 15W40 on a old puch maxi without gears but do i need the types you showed.

is the oil for the gears that shift or is it for the crankshaft?

Thanks for making this video..i think if i did not watch it i might have made the mistake of not removing the bleed screw on side of the tranny on my tomos A35..i hope to change the oil shortly..can you say if ..ATF Type F/A Auto Transmission Fluid..is suitable ? theres not a great choice of ATF fluids in the uk
but i prefer to use ATF fluid rather than 10w/30 engine oil..nice video well done

  18. dirtbikeracer411 says:

u can put more fluid in to shift later right? how else can u make it faster? im like 180 and would like to take my gf on it so like combined weight of 300. i live in pa so theres alot of hills but i wana be able to do like 40+ i no i need to drop size in sprocket and remove the packing posibly add more fluid, modify the airbox, how do i know what size jet to do with the carb?

  20. tpvalley says:

I bought a tomas for £5 at school when young but it had the transmission on other side- a 2 speed clutch. shit slow!
there r so many tunable peds out there why a tomas?

  21. anthonyrules90210 says:

Nice video. Very informative. I change my transmission fluid every 2000 miles.

  22. LanceCampeau says:

If you let the fluid drip out of the side hole then you should have the proper ammount of fluid in the tranny.

  23. LanceCampeau says:

sounds like a decent price… if the miles are low (under 1000)
