no…it must have this clutch…if it have this clutch..the time of accelerations will be amazing…like 5.5 sec in 0 100 i think
no renaultsport must have the normal clutch!
nope …
finally…will be the renaultsport megane with this new gearbox?
It was awkward at first, but I fell in love with super ten
I never had any problem with a super 10 except if you shift it too quick it will miss the gear…But overall I liked it…
Easy my ass. Been driving a stupid 10 for over a year now, Not near as good or as simple as a straight 10.
Thanks for the vid. I am a bit confused. I’ve been told, & it was demonstrated, that after the first shift & clutch you no longer need to clutch at all up through the gears or on the dn shift. You just shift at the height of the rpm for the gear ur in with out the clutch. I’ve read this also. Can anyone clarify this? Will this cause trans problems? Also, this vid shows double clutching when Bob-tailing/light loads, thru the 5 gears. Is the clutch required for this?
I saw this tranny on a kenworth at the shop this summer, and from a guy who only knew the shift sequence for the 13, 15, 18 speed, this took me by suprise haha.
an easy shift mechanism not hard at all!
The most easiest transmission to figure out
the fucker bottum shift is a fucker shit asi you
cant wait to get my CDL. ROCK ON
id forget to button shift
Finally had a chance to drive a Mack dump truck with a super 10. Horrible not only is it confusing but I found no advantages to having to split back and forth. No clutch required it is all in being smooth with good control of the rpm. Still prefer a 9, 13 specially an 18 speed.
agreed
good post jtr. though not my faveorite trans either
One of the worst inventions in semi truck history….not to far behind the automatic….
Awesome video, thanks!!
And I’m secord, yahoo!
I’m first!!! YAY!!!
