Honda Jazz review – CarBuyer

Full review: www.carbuyer.co.uk The Honda Jazz has a particularly loyal customer base in the UK thanks to its huge versatility, space and reliability. The clever, quick folding rear seats and masses of room allow the Jazz to compete not just in the supermini marketplace, but also alongside mini-MPV models like Skoda’s Roomster. It’s not cheap, and choice is limited to 1.2- and 1.4-litre petrol engines – with an automatic transmission offered with the 1.4-litre engine. Entry-level S trim is poorly specified, though the ES models are reasonably equipped. Avoid ticking the satellite navigation option box as it’s very expensive. Do you own this car? Would you recommend this or a honda civic for a first time 19 year old driver?

  2. akie64 says:

My wife drives the 1.5 Sport, purchased new in Nov 08 and has been a fantastic little car.
Only downside is our model doesn’t have stability control but the later models do.
Like the look of the new Civic Euro, upgrade time perhaps!!

  3. GOGOTSUSAN says:

I owned one Y2006 model and had driven 200000km in UAE – no trouble at all in its history and very useful I got to know when I bought a lot in IKEA. One of the greatest cars in the world.

  4. itsTiLER says:

this car in the USA, it’s called the Fit and it doesn’t have height adjustable seats. i own one and i feel like i’m sitting in a hole. i agree with the blind spot pillar.

  5. Obama WarCriminal says:

I’ve looked at several mini cars and the Jazz was by far the best.

  6. Renz Mark Garcia says:

This is an awesome car. Especially with the RS kits in the asian market. Our engine here is a 1.5 i-vtec. fun, affordable, economical, fast, and practical. I know someone who fits a go kart at the back when the seats are fully folded.
and what’s awesome is the support this vehicle has in the aftermarket. Parts are so easy to find and tuning this is no problem at all for enthusiasts.

  7. akdaus says:

and whats the best vtec transmission? auto(include semi auto) or manual?

  8. EmulatorHeaven says:

Obviously not. This is a manual not a semi automatic. Nobody wants autos in this country.

  9. akdaus says:

and wait.. the manual dosent have shifting gear like ferrari? because my sister has bought automatic( which has shfting at steering)..

  10. akdaus says:

my sister have it.. this car has i-vtec engin and i stands for economic and vtec is is roaring double sound engine.. altough i have honda civic ek9 bt i love my sister car.. because its economical and high comfort with saftey ncap.. but soon i will buy the fit version

Looks like every other Japanese small car. Where did individuality go?

  12. dollar collapse says:

That “really fat A-pillar”, in the unfortunate case that you’re in an accident and your car flips up-side down, will keep you from getting crushed. Honda designed this car with occupant safety in mind.

    I owned a 2011 Honda Fit (Jazz) when I lived in U.S.

The Honda Jazz (Fit) is an excellent car, well made, fun to drive, reliable, economical, roomy, and it has good all around visibility.

Now that I live outside of the U.S., I plan on buying another Honda Jazz very soon.

    This is a great car.

This car look’s like a frog.

  15. hisvictimesty says:

Compared to long sedans this car has no front :-) C´mon, look how short it is.

  16. David Halifax says:

The only thing I didn’t like about the Jazz is the driver can’t see where the front ends when parking.

  17. JustMyHobbies says:

i even did that too in my old jazz.. hahaha

  18. Kankki1 says:

2:04 Wow, in the video it seems super loud inside.

  19. GaffStraid says:

Picked up a new 1.2 last week, this review is pretty accurate. It has amazing space for the size – yet some 2 feet shorter than my previous car, a Skoda Octavia. Well screwed together. Bit noisy from 60mph upwards. Ride’s a bit firm, but nowhere near the horror story that you would imagine, a Fiesta / Corsa is only marginally better. Really light to drive, trade-off is that it doesn’t handle like a Fiesta, but hey, that’s the Daddy of handling.

This is user-friendly car and pretty economical too. I’ve subscribed to your channel will you subscribe to mine?
