We had a 2008 sequoia base SR5 but with the larger 5.7L engine – the reviews back then used to say the same thing that an upgrade is needed to get the larger engine so its always good to check with the dealerships first!

@SweetWife84 I like the land cruiser but ur right it’s even more expensive then like mercedes and BMW SUVs like the x5 x6 gl or ml

  12. 123Rosko says:

The SR5 can have the 5.7……this video is misleading. I like your reviews, but you can get an SR5 with the large V8.

  13. 123Rosko says:

    youve got that right ha

  14. Giablo1 says:

haha over here in NC you see toyota trucks nonstop

  15. SweetWife84 says:

Toyota has not sold much of this Truck in US then export, sad to see it goes away, Land Cruiser is just too expensive to own, unless they can sell the cheaper models

  16. 92CamryLE says:

That’s true, it depends on the situation, like my family used the third row all the time in our Suburban because my mom baby sat a lot of kids at one point, when that ended we got rid of it and got a crew cab truck to pull our camper.

  17. pelepihuamo says:

I see your point, but if you have good enough cargo room there is no need to remove, or fold the third row. What if you have all seats occupied including the third row, and each of your passengers has a suit case. You would be glad the Sequoia has a roof rack, because the luggage would just not fit behind the third row.

  18. 92CamryLE says:

No… I just looked at both reviews, the Sequoia is definitely beat by the Suburban in interior space, but with the third row folded in (or in the Suburban’s case taken out) The Sequoia has 66 cubic ft. while the Suburban has a large 90 cubic ft. But it is at 45 cubic ft when the third row is up. Which is less than the Sequoia when it’s third row is folded.

What I’m saying is that the Suburban achieves these great numbers because the third row can’t be folded, it must be completely removed.

  19. pelepihuamo says:

You must be thinking of the Tahoe, because in the Suburban, with the 3rd row up has more room than the Sequoia with the 3rd row down.

  20. 92CamryLE says:

We used to have a 1997 Suburban, and the huge interior was awesome, gas prices weren’t a big deal at the time and the third row was just as big as the second. I loved it, it was huge and hard to park but we loved it. However, it broke down quite a few times without even reaching 150,000 miles and problem after problem got expensive so we traded it in for an 07 Tundra in 2007. We didn’t need the third row anymore, but we still needed to haul a trailer. That and Toyota reliability had us sold.

  21. 92CamryLE says:

Yes, but the Sequoia also needs a place to store the third row seats, the Suburban’s must be completely removed, so they have more space for cargo.

  22. ProtegeTuype says:

    this car is no joke

  23. pelepihuamo says:

With the 3rd row up this thing has no cargo room, compared to the suburban.
