Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube’s largest collection of automotive variety! In today’s video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the first generation 1963 Buick Riviera. GM’s first “personal luxury car”. Designed for those looking for luxury and style with a thirst for performance. With dramatic styling for 1963 and arguably one of the nicest looking interior’s from the 60s, the Riviera was definitely ahead of it’s time. Design cues can even be seen with the last generation (8th gen) riviera from 1995-1999. Potent 401 cu/in (6.6) and automatic transmission, a timeless classic! During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. Beautiful car! Last year for the Dynaflow transmission!
The 2nd best ultimate Pimp-mobile! (Cadillac)
I’d rock this in 2012 without hesitation.
Listen to that 401!
Maybe you should have bought that car.
Needs 4 on the floor. Then I’d rock it.
Sexy car!
for its age this has got to be one of the best looking cars ive seen, besides the vintage auction cars. most older cars are rusted and the carpet/seats may be ripped ect. but this one seems to be in pretty good shape
Kyle, great video, a timeless beauty. Now that was a Buick! I remember these cars when I was a kid.. Makes me long for the good old days.
did it sound like that new?
I JUST BOUGHT A 64 WITH THE 401
its a riviera
OMG! This Centurys is sooo beautiful man! I like this one. I’m a big fan of Buick Centurys !
9 city, 12 hwy – good lord! One of the most beautiful cars ever though
does the fuel gauge work or is it just very little gas cause i didnt see it light or move at 1:21 when you started it
this car is in very good codition if i was staying in the usa i would have more off this reviera just like them
you can still make out BMW’s a 1/2 mile away. You can also make out a ferrari from a mile away.
But yes, these are cars with heart and soul. Not microchips and computers
i got to take a ride in a 1928 Buick back a number of years ago. I don’t kno much else about it other than the seats are comfortable and it would hit 60 on the highway.
and even today there aren’t coupes with rear moving windows
wow the inside of this is nice! looks way ahead of it’s time, most 60s cars had bench seats. most cars today have a similar setup, like the center console, center shifter, gauge setup
my grandpa had one of these and they stole it and drove it but parked it back lol weird
wow…. a Quarter Mile in 15 seconds?.
That’s quick for such an old car!.
Holy crap, so much trolling.
Don’t worry kyle… obviously those trolls Thumbed down…. and as you can see they are less than 4%
